Hey.

I lost my one and only key for my F4 today. The aussie version has no HISS system so it should be astraight forward to get a key cut but where the hell do I find the key/lock code for my bike?

I am told that it should be on a barrel of the lock/ignition, is this right?

Any ideas?

 

Well the US doesnt have the HISS crap either so yes, it is stamped somewhere on that ignition when you pull it. If you take this # to a locksmith it will cost roughly $6USD... My key snapped, I bought 3 replacements!

 

I will be buying at least 3..... I have never lost a set of keys in my life and i manage to lose my most treasured one!!

So how do i go about getting the ignition barrel out and where exactly is the number printed?
