Default Looking for Mid Pipe

I just purchased a used D&D exhaust, but it didn't come with the midpipe. (D&D wasn't my first choice, but for the price, I couldn't pass it up). Does anybody know where I can get one for cheap? Will any midpipe do or are they brand specific? Has anyone ever gone to an auto muffler shop and had one made? If so, any idea at how much I'd be looking at? Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. THanks.

I was in the same boat, I got a price on a mid pipe and it was more than I paid for the pipe off ebay, I ended up buying another pipe off ebay for 1/2 the price they wanted for a mid pipe. I even tried muffler shops but they all said the bend was too tight for them to even try.

Oh well, I guess it doesn't look too promising right now then. I haven't found anything offered on ebay lately. My next step was to contact a muffler shop when I find some time, but apparently they may not be able to help me. I'll keep you posted if I find a muffler shop willing to take the job for a decent offer. Thanks for the feedback.

Have you looked into using flexible exhaust pipes? I was considering this a while ago while looking into aftermarket cans... Don't know whether this will work or not though. Just a tip

I would still check with some muffler shops, bring the bike in and see if they can try to make one. The ones around here wouldnt but the ones near you might? as far as trying a mid pipe from a diff pipe, I doubt it will fit right...some are longer/shorter, and have slightly different bends...
