Lethal Tank Slapping at 120MPH
So I was riding on some highway I think the CA101 Northern Cali between Napa Valley and Vallejo. Well there is a huge straight away, so I decided to test my 99 CBR600 Carbed, It was extreme steady around 110, idk if it was uneven payvment on the straight-away but the bars start slapping, then the bike fell into a full slap at 119-125. This continued for about a mile, the lethal tank slapping, I accelerated through most of it to straighten it out, I ended up under control and pulled over in the dead grass midian. I guess someone behind me saw the whole thing and they called the Fire Dept. I stopped under an underpass on the next exit and just cleaned the brush off my bike and my pants. So the fire dept first passes me while holding position under the bridge so I waived to them, 2 mins later they come cruising back and ask me if I dropped my bike, I said no I had some tank slapping and had to pull over, the guy said keep the wheels down and I said keep truckin' and that was it. SO lesson learned. I edited this post because obviously some brothers of ours were offended.

RE: Lethal Tank Slapping at 120MPH
Hmmm lets see. It appears you joined after me. My point by calling your bike a piece of **** (which it probably is because you don't take care of it I'm sure) is that you need to fix it. This doesn't happen on any of our bikes....so hmmm let me guess it isn't honda's fault, our our faults, so that jsut leaves you. Take better care of your bike. Maybe get it serviced every once in a while.
