Exclamation Hesitation problem

Alright I just switched out my old low compression motor with a used motor I got checked out which has good compression across all cylinders. I had a mechanic check out the valves, head, cylinder walls and everything. He said everything was good and said he cleaned the carbs.
However I took it for a quick spin after getting everything back together and it hesitates at 6k rpm and is kinda jumpy as it gets over it.
Is it just the motor like rebreaking in and carbs getting back to functioning cause I have no idea

It is a 1999 F4 and I put in a 2000 F4 motor in it
