Default Hesitation problem?

Hey all, just bought a 00 929rr and am having some concerns about hesitation. The problem occurs when starting in 1st gear. Between 1k and 3k rpm's the engine chugs and does not accerelate in a smooth motion. Its just like tring to start in 2nd and 3rd gear in your car and almost stalling out. The hard chuggingdramatically decreasesafter the 3k rpm markbut I can still feel that the bike is hesitating. Not sure what the problem is? Any help or ideas? Thanks!!!!

There is your problem,Yoshi's are for Suzuki's JK.It could be that you need a PC to adjust the fuel and air mixture.

keep it simple first....plugs, air filter dirty, injectors dirty, old gas. You said you just bought it right? Work through the basic systems and see if cleans up.

Default RE: Hesitation problem?

I just had the 12k mile service done and replaced the spark plugs and air filter. I knew before doing all that work that it wasn't going to solve the problem and I had a feeling that the plugs were not the issue, but I had no clue how this bike was cared for previously and wanted to start on a clean sheet. After riding for a while, one thingI did notice is that only two of the pipes are hot after a short ride (5-10 miles). I assume that it is only running on two cylinders.I then did some research throughnumerous other threads with the same issue and found out that the majority of the same problems that others have are solved by replacing the fuel pressure regulator. I also am going to check other suggestions such as battery connection and power commander. If it was a power commander....? where is that located and how do I know if there is one installed? thanks
