Default Help me with your expertise! IDK whats wrong.

Hey so I have a 1999 cbr 600 f4. Had it about 4 years now. in the last year I have done

jets and floats cleaned
new tires
new plugs
new air filter
new pipe
New coolant
valves checked
new synthetic oil always
new battery
new for seals
new chain

I always run some carb/fuel cleaner through the gas lines every 5 tanks or so.

So the problem now the problem, my bike starts and runs great and has been for the last year. About a week ago I was sitting in traffic at idle (1300-1400) rpms and then the motor just dies just about when the fan would turn on to cool it back down. It would start back up unless I choked it which I finally did then kept riding and it was fine. Its been fine for a week. It just did it again today when the bike heated up to where the fan turns on it dies. The fan doesn't turn on either and it will run fine on the choke until I ride it about 1 min then take it off and it was fine.
I have a little Cam chain noise so I have a new one of those on the way but those are not really related. Im wondering if its the thermostat or what? why would the bike stall when it heats up to basically operating temp but run on the choke? seems like the low idle jet clogs when it heats up which makes no sense.

3 weeks ago it would heat up and run with the fan on just fine?

thanks in advance for you input!

Sounds like your R/R needs to be replaced. Cbrent just bought another bike and has 2 R/Rs for sale super cheap, they are the new style fined ones too! Other then that I would do a once over of your wiring harness, clean and pack your connections with dielectric grease, will help with hot days a lot. It could be a few other things but R/Rs overheating are sadly common on F4s. Hope it helps.
