Default Help, fuel problem

So my F4 won't stay running. When i first turn it on, i need to turn the kill switch on and turn the key on and off for it to get fuel. Then once i do that, it will run for 5 or 10 minutes then die out, i then have to repeat the process. It doesn't turn off while i'm riding, but its not responsive like it should be, i recently got left by a ninja sport touring and that is nowhere near being normal. Can anyone tell me what it could be.

If your battery keeps getting low it could be the AC DC rectifier not charging it. That happened to my bike last summer and when I finally replaced it it didn't just not die on me anymore, it felt like a whole new bike!

Sounds like an electrical problem to me.. The thing about turning the key on/off to get it to work.

Filter is worth changing anyway. I have cleaned two sets of carbs for this bike, and basically there wasn't anything to clean.. I would be surprised if that was the problem.
