help with carbs....
Recently pulled my engine apart to replace transmission. I pulled the carb assembly, all vacuum and fuel lines off. Unfortunately I did so without pictures and/or marking anything.
Got the bike started up last night after a bit of messing with it. When I shut it off, it started spitting fuel back up through the carbs.
Does anything have any pictures of the air lines on the bike? A few pictures of the engine and lines with the tank and airbox off? I cant really find any pictures like that on the internet and Ive been searching for weeks to make sure everything was correct. Apparently I didn't hook them up right.

Just had mine apart a couple weeks ago. Here is the picture I took:

Pretty sure you can see the air hoses on top, the coolant hoses in the front, and the fuel lines in the rear. That should the all the hoses for the carbs. All of the other disconnected hoses are airbox hoses.

Thanks. Ill go by this picture. I know there is another valve behind the one pictured, but I think that one may be a bit self explanatory.
just trying to get everything figured out with having the tank.

All visible line in the picture I have correct. Its all the lines you can't see.
The lines off the front of the valve cover go into a valve. Where does the line on the bottom of that valve go. And the line thats sticking up behind the carbs right in front of the frame crossbar, where does that come from.

It looks like there is a hose diagram similar to my picture on page 1-21 of the honda manual. (It is a little more descriptive. Still doesn't show hoses below the carbs)
I believe 1-22 has the hose routing you are looking for. It shows the valve cover hoses and their routing.
I can try to explain but these diagrams are a bit more helpful.

I have the manual on 2 shop computers, my phone, and my personal laptop. it helps a bit but still didn't exactly pinpoint where everything went.
I figured it out last night. I was missing a hose I found over on the work bench and just kinda stared at everything until it looked right. put airbox back on and fired up and idled smooth.
thank you though
