has onyone changed the headlight from a f4i to f4? i was wondering if it could be done easy. would the front fairing matchup on the 01 model.also wonder if the wireing harness would work or need changed? thanks for any info.

 

If you wanted the f4i headlight, you'd need the f4i upper fairing, fairing stay, the f4 gauges are a little big for the f4i stay but you could rig the gauges in there.the trim aorund the gauges is differentalso. the side fairings are the same and you would need to rewire it because the f4 has a single dual filament bulb and the f4i has 2 seperate hi and low beam bulbs. It might be easier to buy an f4 trackday upper and cut it out to fit the f4i lights assuming they would fit with the f4 upper stay and air ducts and rewire it from there.
