I've noticed that my light(s) do get brighter when I rev the engine.
Probably because you're makin more juice from the engine turning faster, thus turning the alternator/generator faster.
As for the sync-ing of the carbs, I think you need a set of vacuum gauges (4) so you can set them all to the same vacuum pressure.
I know there's some info on the forum concerning this, try the search.

It's not too hard to do but youdoneed carb synch gauge. There are a variety of types... theone I have is from motion pro. Once you have the hoses hooked up then just follow thecarb synch instruction in the bike service manual. And that's basically it. It takes me about an hour to synch (but I go slow). When you put things back together, double check thatall the hoses arein the right places.
And yes, my lights gets a little brighter also.
