Hey guy and gals,

So I bought a 2000 F4, and love the bike, but there is one thing that has been bugging me. The lights on the gauges are really dim, and the temp gauge and odometer are burnt out, so I can only see them during the day.

Now before I pull the gauges and find out the hard way, I wanted to ask if anyone knows if the bulbs are replaceable, or are they sealed units?

Also are there any direct plug and play replacement gauges. I know on my harley I was able to buy a Dakota Digital speedo, pluged right into my factory harness and gave me many added features.

TBH I dont know, I dont have the OEM gauges on my bike however I might know someone who does, I'll call him tomorrow.

 

All of the bulbs for the gauges can be replaced separately - they arrive as a bulb/holder assembly and are a quick 1/4 turn fitting.

I never found any LED replacements but the bulbs are easy enough to find.

They are hidden under some rubber gromets.

I'm a tad late but def replaceable I just pulled my gauge apart couple days ago. If you would like a pic what the inside looks like I can posts some up.
