Front brakes
Ok I was changing my front brakes (although I had to stop they gave me he rear set instead of two front sets....But Is there a trick to not get Brake fluid everywhere? Hell I tore that apart and was thinking, hell I have to split the caliper just to press the pistons in....then I was wondering how the brake fluid would get to the other piston.....then i opened it up and brake fluid went everywhere......Just wondering if this is going to happen every time I change the front pads or if there is a way you can plug it before you split the caliper?

RE: Front brakes
nate...you don't need to split the calipers mang...
on each caliiper, you just need to remove 2 pins, then remove the clip plate, remove pads, use your hands to push the pistons in a tiny bit, fit in the new pads, then clip, then pins and you're done!!!!!!!!!
download the manual quick!

RE: Front brakes
You probably have an air pocket stuck in your line. Gravity bleed them, and pump your brake lever constantly. Bleed one calliper at a time.
Oh yeah, next time you change pads and you find the pistons won't budge, try spraying them with brake cleaner before you suspect the pistons are worn.
