Crankshaft won't turn over easily
Hi y'all
I got an f4 that was dropped on its left side, stator cover, stator, flywheel all destroyed. I installed all the parts (starter turns over without the gear beween the motor sprocket and the flywheel). Tried to start the bike... I can hear the starter relay clicking but the engine is not turning over, took the left cover off to re-examine and realised its almost impossible to turn the engine over by hand. The service manual says 'mechanical failure' if the starter relay clicks and no movement... Is there a possibility that crankshaft got bent from the fall? I can turn it over barely with a wrench (counter-clock). I spent a lot of time putting the rest of the bike together.. Just wanna make sure before I start shopping for an engine.
Thanks.

RE: Crankshaft won't turn over easily
It Works!
Charged the battery all night and took one of the sparkplugs out in the morning.
Hit the starter switch and the flywheel turned over, Mounted the stator cover back, put in oil and engine started. Drove it for 50 miles this weekend, everything seems to run fine.
Thanks for the suggestions.
