Default F4i Front Conversion

I still haven't got all the parts but i didn't want to wait until i got all the parts in. Im still waiting on the F4i ram intake grills and the headlight to come in. But the main things needed is the
-Fairing stay
-Front Cowl
-Headlight
-Ram intake covers
-Windscreen
I noticed that with the F4i intake tubes the faring holes barely lined up, and i had to strech it to fit. so i just used the stock F4 intake tubes and it fits alot better.

I just used an L Bracket to mount the F4 cluster. I'll probably use something better later. But i just wanted to ride.

Thanks for starting a thread on your front end conversion CBARE. It will be of interest to quite a few wanting to do the same.

That looks like an F4 cluster Do you just not have pics with the F4i cluster? I did this swap on my bike also and the F4i cluster is easy to wire up Hardest part was swapping the coolant temp sensor (have to use one from a 900rr).

Yeah it's a F4 cluster. I just didn't feel like spending money on a F4i cluster. Maybe in the future i'll do it.

Curious about the coolant temp swap I keep reading about. Does the F4 ECU not read the coolant temp at all (sensor just there for gauge)? I would assume the F4i reads the temp to adjust fueling correctly, but would have thought even the F4 would know it for timing adjustments.

The temp sensor on the f4 has a different range of impedance and as with my RC 51 cluster the temperature does not display correctly. I would imagine the f4i sensor works fine.
