It will work, I have a Mivv GP carbon exaust on my F4, it will not reduce any performance in no chance, but you have to syncronize your carbs

You have to syncronize for the exaust present on the motorcycle.

N8 Dawg - you've done it personally?

Same frame, Same engine block... different mid pipe, and as a result different end can bend.

That being said - my bike shop said it "wouldn't fit" and when pressured admitted they didn't try because it was an F4i system and I have an F4. I'll have to do it myself when I get my damn bike back...

I put hours of research into this as I've done it myself and didn't want to waste anymoney what so ever (I'm unemployed, therfor cheap).

It WILL NOT work with the stock F4 headers, you need either a full system exhaust or stock F4i headers + F4i slip-on.

One or the other will not work as others said because different bend at the end of the header pipe.
I picked up a header for 10 bucks + shipping (god damn shipping and customs) from stuntlife.com.
Sand blasted them, and painted them with 2000 degreeC black paint and they look great.
Then test fitted with a friends micron for his F4i, fits great.

I have looked into it when I first got my bike my buddy was going to give me a micron slip on for an F4i for free. But I found out it wouldnt fit. But lik.e Jamesbonz said you can do it will a full system but not with the stock headers. I even tried to get a mid pipe made, but I couldnt find a shop willing to do it b/c they said the bend is so tight...so long story short I got a D&D slip on off ebay...then after a month or two I boguht a vance and hines slip on.

**** **** ****! thanks guys for helping me with this. that is wierd that it wont fit considering the f4i is almost a mirror image of the f4. i just needed a good used exhaust cause i recently wrecked and rashed mine up. no big rush though. thanks again

A full set of F4i exhaust parts fits on an F4.

You have to match the headers to the midpipe to the endcan. You can not swap F4 parts with F4i parts.

You can put a F4i system on an F4. My dealer just did it tonight, after discussing it with them again.
