I've written on this b/f...

You can use 1999-2000 F4 forks or 2001-2006 F4i forks. Externally, they are identical. Internally, there are minor differences. They are plug-n-play/swap-n-go. ;-) FWIW, my spare forks are F4i forks & I routinely swap them out on my F4 when I have my F4 forks out for servicing.

You should be able to find F4i forks fairly easily.

As direct replacement, not really any w/o adaptation/modification. FYI the F4 & F4i forks are 43mm.

If you want to do a front end swap, you could do what CJ did w/ the 1000RR USD forks but there's quite a bit more involved than just a direct swap & it gets pricey.

So if you want to do the most avail, lowest cost, & easy replacement, F4i forks are the way to go.
