your friend is an idiot!! You can run straight pipes and you still wont get heard until you pull up next to another vehicle. Think about it like this, when you do you heard a fighter jet??? When its right on top of you making its why past you right? Same thing in the case of motorcycles. Dont fall for false myths

If you really, really want it to be louder just take it apart and tighten the packing or remove some packing.

 

D&D's are just obnoxious. Micron was always my favorite sounding pipe but since there out of business thats a no go. I would stick with what you have personally. Also I've had loud pipes and Im rocking stock right now. Cop's dont even see me coming anymore and usually dont mess with me when they do.

 

I've got a Muzzy carbon fiber can on mine, and it's pretty quiet, no where near as loud as my friend's 2 bros. Anyway, it sounds good, a lot more high pitched then your yosh. I honestly wouldn't worry about it too much, unless you can find a used one on the cheap.

 

I just got the delkevic 8" mini muffler. From the sound clips its exactly what i want. its significantly louder than the one u have but have a deep done. i cant give an accurate testimonial just yet since its not on my bike but the youtube videos says something

thats a 1k in that video too so it will sound completely diff on a 600.

 

very true... i got it because its the look i am going for and there was another video that i saw online that was an r6 with this exhaust that didnt sound too bad. They compared it to the LOR racing exhaust
