Default Engine will shut down at higher speeds

I was coming around a long left bank on the interstate at about 100-120 the other day and my bike just shut down for 1-2 seconds. All my guagues zero'd out and then came right back as nothing had ever happened. The very same thing happened a day or 2 later at about 80 mph. I have no idle issues no electrical contections do weird things at any other time and I have not been able to reproduce the problem since those 2 time. Has anyone had a problem like this or have any idea what might be wrong.

Thanks in advance

I gota say that my experiences with cars and bikes having electrical issues has always been a battery connection. When you go fast or jar the battery you may be messing up the ground connection. very tipical, look into this first. just my opinion.... good luck..

Iagree, if everything dies (motor and guages), it's more than likely a bad ground or a coroded positve lead.

sounds electrical. if its not, check the tubes near the ram air ducts in front of the bike and make sure they are getting air into them. they feed the barrels of the carbs with air.

your syptoms sound electrical though. try there first

+1 on the battery .. check your terminal connections.. most of the time that solves the problem..
