Default Did Some Winter Modding

It was nearly 60 yesterday. freakish day .. love it! Instead of riding a few of my buddies decided to wrench on the bikes ..

I installed my clear Hotbodies flush mounts using the 3-2 wire sticky on this forum with the two diodes.. it works beautifully! Im very happy with how the HBs fit into the stock upper fairing mounting points.. I also installed an LED flasher so that the blink rate is the same as stock.

One of my upper side fairings had a tear in it up top so I bought a new one from replicals. I peeled it off yesterday (took longer to get it off and clean than to install the flush mounts!). Today I plan on putting the new decal on.

I was going to install my HID kit but ran out of daylight..

It would be awesome to get another few days like that... today its only going to be mid 40s though...

Anyone else doing some winter mods?

Glad your HB lighting mod & install went well. I had extra diodes on hand when I did mine. ;-) For any of you that have done this mod, its really easy to have to redo it. ;-)

Good luck on the decal.

got the decal on.. didnt think it would take the flexing to make it go like OEM but it pretty much did.. have a few air bubbles that I am hoping will work their way out otherwise I'll pop a few..
