Default Reflective Rim Tape

Anyone have or have used that tape that people are putting on the rims these days? I thought I seen some that were L.E.D but maybe that was the reflection of light LOL ....... What's the thought on these?

To each his own. There's many dif types. You can even get the Honda name, patterns, etc. CycleGear carries basic colors in their stores. Eb*y has a large selection.

If I EVER put any on.... oh ok, I've put it on in the past and I'll do it again. Those reflective ones are surely safer, but I hardly ever ride at night.
The tape looks horrible though when it waves up and down the rim. Where can I get one of those dispensers like you have a picture of?

I have red reflective rim stripes on mine. I don't ride at night too much, but during the day they look the same asa non reflective so for just a few bucks more you get the extra safety (FWIW).

I didn't use a dispenser.. Just a steady hand and being careful...

I have yellow reflective and it does its job, that little device will surely help. I used mild soapy water and was able to move the tape straight but took some time.

I like the way wheel stripes look on bikes. i bought mine from cycle gear for around 12 bucks, one package did both wheels. i just put em on by eye ball no special tool needed. it might help to use the tool for some one who doesnt have a steady hand.

I'm going to need that toy, because I don't have a steady hand. I like how they look as well. If it doesn't look how I want it to, I will just take it off, not like it cost a fortune to get it and put it on ya know.

Invest in Goo Gone. Helped my neighbor remove his rim tape and it was a pain. He bought some cheap stuff though so it just started falling apart.
