Default D&D Shorty

Has anyone cut a D&D down to a shorty? I want to make mine shorter and was wondering if there is any crazy baffle system inside that I would find when I cut it down. Thanks

pretty much all aftermarket mufflers just straight through baffles with packing. the easiest way to tell about your d & d pipe is to just look down through the muffler. you should see all the way through. I took and marked my two bros pipe where i wanted it and just chop-sawed the bitch and shoved the end piece back on lol. looks like factory.

Make sure you pack that thing tight... They will be able to hear you a few miles away

I hacked my M4 off about 4 inches and didn't pack it as tight as it was. It's almost to the point of too loud, but not quite!

Jesus, my D&D is so damn loud the way it is I couldn't imagine cutting it! I've contemplated getting a quieter can, but I like how low pitched it is compared to most cans.

I'm pretty surprised because mine seems relatively quiet, especially compared to the 1000's that I ride with. Well this Friday I'm going to buy some new packing and cut out 6 inches or so.
