When I go up to 200km/h and stop the bike, i notice some coolant under the thermostat. At first I thought it was from one hose that connects to the waterpump, but it has no leaks. It also has some oil leak but i think it is from the stator cover that I'm going to replace it. can anyone
help me? view from the left side of the bike, the red thing is the rear shock just for reference same place different angle
It's not a lot of cooolant but I'm afraid that something worse might happen. thank you.
Where is your coolant overflow tank/ reserve tank located? Also, where is the emergency overflow dumping out at? I would check both of these first, as they are an easy fix, or don't need any fix at all. I have experienced something similar when I let my bike overheat while sitting in the garage chasing a wiring issue. The coolant boils over from the radiator and main system to the reserve/ overflow tank, and then it can start spraying from the overflow line due to the steam and heat pressure from inside the system. I would assume after 200+ km/h, it would be running pretty hot, and could be spraying coolant out of that overflow line.
