Default CBR600F Mileage query

Hi Guys

New here and just bought a 99 CBR600F and i love it,came from a VFR400 which i despised!!
Just have a few general mileage questions if anyone can help.

Whats the rough mileage outta a full tank?

What amount of petrol is there before the petrol light comes on?

Is the reserve automatic cos i have seen what looks like a 3 postion fuel tap so is it on-off-reserve?

Thanks!

When I drive in the city my light usually goes on at 190KM. I never push the bike after the light is on but I have heard 250 km on the tank.

Mine did NOT have a reserve switch. It was ON-OFF-ON as it was just a two way valve.

My reserve light didn't work but I would head towards the gas station at about 160 miles - on my F4i I have found out that I can do 180 on a tank before heading to the station. I don't think the mileage between the two would be much different.

If you are getting 45 miles/gallon than that would mean that you could squeak out nearly 200 miles a tank - 45*4.4 = 198/tank.

I get to 250km ( or approx 180 miles) from a full tank to when the light comes on.

I just got 170 when the light went on. Based on that mileage and the gallons I put in, I got 45 mpg on the last fill up.

I ran out of fuel the other day on my '99 CBR 600 and i had 349 klm's on the trip meter. The Reserve switch is not working so i Contacted a couple of local dealers (Sydney,Australia.) for the price on a new switch.
$95-$105 AUD for the switch and, get this $3 - $44 AUD for the gasket/o-ring.
$44 AUD because he had nil stock and it had to come from Japan!!!
