so i went riding last sunday, and usually i store my disc brake lock and the keys for that in my storage area under the seat. along with the keys to the disc brake lock, i also have a key to a chain lock and a digital tire pressure gauge, so its a pretty big group of items. after i went riding, the keys and digital tire pressure gauge were missing! is it possible that could have slipped out of that storage compartment area? I have checked everywhere and cannot find these items. I even traced back the route i drove to see if it was on the street anywhere, still no luck.

just want to see if anything bizarre like that has happened to anyone else on there? I drive a 2000 Honda CBR600F4 btw.

 

Yep, things can mysteriously work themselves out of there. I keep a ziploc bag under my seat for various items...works like a charm.

 

yes... I use a pioneer string back pack encase of purchases while out riding that folds up nicely. For riding gear i.e. glasses, wallet, smokes, phone.. I use a crown royal bag and tie the strings after closing the bag. Keeps the glasses from getting scratched and all your necessary bits in your boot, also it's fun acquiring the bag
