Default My 1999 F4 Honda Project. Feedbacks are always welcome. Thanks.

So I brought this 1999 F4 a couple of months ago for dirt cheap, only $1100 but without a front end cause he was a stunner and no fairings.

When I first purchase the bike:

After a week, I purchased a street fighter mask so I can ride around for awhile and I didn't have sufficient funds to make my f4i conversion.

After about a month or two of collecting cheap parts from ebay and craigslist I finally got everything I needed to go forward with my project!

After a week of sanding and painting and painting and re-sanding and clear coating and hooking up the f4i gauge. This is the finally result:

Not really a professional at painting or bondoing but I did what I had to do, and it looks decent. I also sprayed the frame, pegs, black! Let me know what you guys think.

Also I'm planning on cutting my battery tray and adding a fender eliminator when I get a chance, or I might do the slicker dual seat conversion. But since I don't have the money right now, this will just do. I'll update this post if I do any more modifications towards it.

Special thanks to mikebluep5 for all the advice on my project and everyone that helped me.

You're doing a great job!

When you get ready to do the split-seat conversion, please feel free to contact me. I recently did the swap & extremely glad I did. I've got a tutorial w/ pics in my photo gallery.

Keep up the good work & post your progress.

gotcbr: Thanks I will certainly pm you when I get everything for the rear end conversion. I already have the split seat tail, all i need is a new battery tray, and two seats. And I should be good to go.

98formulaLS1: Its the original 99-00 tail. You can probably get it on ebay or when I'm done with my tail conversion you get buy mines! lol

crazynate: I was thinking about painting the tank, but then it wouldn't have the glossy look if I did, so I'm still thinking about it.

repsol a095: Thanks bro.

98formulals1: Really, how does your 2000 tail look like? You should post a picture up.

ccapitanu: Lol yes you did, so the picture is up above with the street fighter mask. Not the greatest picture but yea, if you aim the mask down alittle, its more aggressive, I have mines up more cause I got lazy to adjust it. I just wanted to ride it.
