broken off bolt for front rotors....

Default broken off bolt for front rotors....

hey guys i have a little prolem. i changed my front tire at work today and when installing one of the bolts sheard off flush. easy enough fix i grabbed my drill out set and drilled a perfectly center hole grabbed the extractor bit and it spun off and broke. and with the extractor being high strength steel i cannot redrill it i tried heating the rim and using picks but no sucess so i was wondering if ne one had ne other ideas? and if not would it be alright to run 5 of the 6 bolts to hold the rotor on??

Sorry you had the bad luck. While 5 of 6 will hold, I would personally only run it that way til I could fix it properly. To that, run it down to your local machine shop & they'll get it out for you for about $5.

great advise just curious if this will affect my braking at all? like useing the front brake as much as you have to will this cause warping or vibration?

Its negligible. Use your brake as needed.
