Default Bogged down for 1st time at light on take off. Just cold?

this hasent happened to me at all since i bought the bike.. and im doing an oil change on the 1st im hoping the engine was just cold because i was on my way to school and it happened about a half mile from my house at a light..

dunno if i didnt give it enough gas on take off that time but it was odd.. but i revved it higher so i wouldnt have stalled out.. maybe it was a hiccup??

im also going to buy a can a sea foam and run it in the tank but it didnt happen for the rest of my short ride to school but ill check at lunch time as well..

Oil change completed

put some seafoam in the tank it wouldnt crank on its on till i gave it some throttle.. thought that was weird.. but should be squeeky clean after this tank is gone..

went for a 20 minute ride.. riding hard she seems much happier now

i guess i picked up rotella T which i also thought was synthetic.. but i guess not.. so im running conventional instead of synthetic right now..

heard it doesnt make a difference.. but she is running great! like almost more powerful and shifts easier too

check out the techron stuff (the bottle not the gas) people say it works better than seafoam for cleaning and maintenance and seafoam is great for putting in your oil right before you change it and storage. gonna give that a go next time around.

I've experienced increasingly common bogging on my F4. For a while I was convinced that the fuel air mixture was set too rich and that when I was standing still it simply wasn't getting enough air to match the sudden increase in fuel I was giving when I pumped the throttle from a standstill. However, I had a very experienced group of mechanics listen to it idle and they all agreed that there seemed to be some problem with the vacuum in the airbox not being right. I'm hoping that if I can fix that problem, the engine will begin to get enough air again and will balance out the fuel/air mixture.

I notice at higher speeds (/better intake) that my performance is outstanding and I have no trouble with bogging, although my bike has, in the past month, begun to backfire more when downshifting aggressively. I've also become more confident with blipping the throttle and am decelerating faster than I was before, but it still is clear to me that I am experiencing abnormal symptoms of a rich fuel/air mixture. I will take the airbox off today and see if there's something out of place. If so you'll be one of the first to know; perhaps it will help you with yours.
