light back fire on cold start with choke on, normal?

on cold start up my bike has a light backfire/pop with choke on is that normal
i think im just being peranoid its gone as soon as the choke is off

Try just giving it 1/2 to 3/4 choke and see if that helps. Carbs may be a bit out of synch but nothing to worry about.

is it stock exhaust ? if not a back fire is perfectly normal on after market stuff

ya its a full aftermarket D&D exhaust, i didnt think it was problem but just wanted to make sure thanks for the input
