Default Bike won't start

It's a 1999 F4. Bike was sitting for a little while, went to go start it, battery was dead. We jumped it, bike started but since my friend forgot to set the choke it died.. We tried to go again but this time it wouldn't start.

We tried jumping it again, the bike wouldn't start. So I charged the battery, again, the bike wouldn't start.

I bought a new battery, bike wouldn't start.

I hear the starter relay clicking but I can faintly hear the starter gear trying to come out.

All fuses are good.

Is my starter dead?

They're all clean, I just remembered there as no choke (I had a friend start it)

Well I just tried again, but I directly connected the starter to the battery and NOTHING! Grrrrr I hear something coming from the starter so I gave it a few good taps and still nothing. Looks like I need a new starter

Are they hard to do?

if carbs are ok then that just leaves the spark as being the problem

if you bought a brand new battery and its just clicking (you dont hear it attempting to turning over) your starter probably went bad

ive never changed a starter before so i wouldnt know the difficulty
but i think it just requires changing cdi / ignition coils

Unhappy My bike wont start either

I did alot **** to my bike i think i screwed it up..
okay so this is my first bike and i didn't test it out when i bought so i finally got home i rode it everything was fine till i notice when I'm in 2and gear i add gas it feels like it wants to turn off so i have to do it very slowly and then it goes..

So i wanted to check the spark plugs i took it apart, once everything was off i couldn't bcuz i need that tool that comes with the bike and i don't have it so i put it all back together, I took a ride and everything was fine but still bonking out like it wanted to die

so i checked the oil it was really really dark so i replace oil I changed the oil and oil filter with syc 10W40 i took a ride and everything was fine and then when i went to rave it up higher it started to shake and it wanted to turn off again! so now I'm like WTF low RPM wants to die High RPM wants to die WTF is going on..

Now today i took it out to ride to see if everything was okay i started everything fine and then 1st gear gas and dies again and again and again so now my bike wont START!!! the battery is good bcuz lights turn on and when i start it i only hear the clicking sound and it wont turn over WAT DID I DO??!! PLEASE GUYS HELP ME!!! I just order that damn book it wont be here for another week or two
