hi..my new F4 which is done only 57kms now heats up really hot on the fuel tank and even the indicator shows 104 or 105centi!!!! can you please tell me why this happens? my friend tells me the bike should be under 90centi....

is this becoz i put the high beam on always, plus i have changed the exhaust so now i make the noise every now and then when i get a chance, u know..i like a noisy bike...pls let me know if this is the reason why the bike heats up or is their any other reason. thanks.

when i am sitting in traffic for a long long time my bike heats up a litle bit too, are you sitting in traffic a lot?
but when i start to ride it usally cools down

 

Mine does the same sitting in traffic, or when its just really hot outside.

Might wanna check the coolant level though, it could be low. Or your fan might not be kicking on.

 

mmmm.i think my coolant level is showing at the lower marker! anyways. today i was riding on a traffic free road and the temperature was around 80-84..only when i came to lower gears for long, then it raised to maximum 90. is this ok? i have to put some anti free coolant which we get at the gas stations to fill it up to the top marker.
i guess that should do the cooling down for the bike, but still what are the safe temperature levels? in the morning when i started the bike and kept it on for 5minutes, the bike went up to 70centis! is this normal? please let me know. thanks.
