Back after some time away. Be prepared for questions!
Preloge: I haven't been on for about a year. Due to my friends not having bikes and mine just ended up sitting in the garage. Any way on to other matters. I have a 99 f4. As you can see in the pics I would call it extremely clean. I bought it 2 1/2 yrs ago with 5k on it off an older gentleman who could no longer ride it. It has never been downed or beaten. It currently has 7,250 miles on it. Yes I only average 1,100 miles a year on it. It's all stock but the visor and k&n drop in filter.
The questions:
1. I am looking for an exhaust to put on it. I was siding with a carbon yosh or carbon two brothers. Right now I am thinking two brothers. Any one have any feed back on this exhaust?
2. Also with the exhaust I am having a jet kit installed and setup. Is this a good idea? I am very **** retentive about my bike. I don't want to "slide" by and possibly run lean.
3. I like the look of the f4i's far more then my f4. I want to do the tail conversion, cluster, headlight as well. I am not aloud a new bike duh to the wife but modifications are not in the agreement haha. Where is a good place to get these parts, average price, and difficulty of installation?
4. Should I convert the bike to a f4i? I feel half obligated to keep it as is. Since its very clean and has cosmetic issues.
5. My cbr has a tap which I previously posted about. It's only during warm up. It's NOT on initial start, and once warmed up completely goes away. It's only in between cold and running temp. I assumed it was valves but had them checked twice and both places said " they are within allowable spec ". I know it has to be a valve I out a new timing chain tensioner in and run the correct oil ect. Any input? Can I tell the shop to adjust them as close to perfect as humanly possible? I don't know if a valve must be out of spec before you can shim them. Or if its almost out can you shim them? I never dealt with valves before.
Thank you to all who read through this I know it's very boring but any input or opinion would be great!
Thanks again!

Do the Tail swap! Get the Tail fairing color matched to the rest of the bike, I feel the gauges are really up to you but the headlight is unique now, Not that many people have them and there are less and less every year. There are tons of F4is everywhere so a F4 with a split seat will look nice.
Nice bike - I like the colours. ( can you tell me the honda paint code for that red please ? )
I think CJardine has it right - do enough to make it yours but don't do too much.
I am always very wary of bikes that have had major electrical changes done to them ( different clocks )- if anything goes wrong it is very difficult to get a wiring diagram for them to help sort it out.

Ive done a lot to rewire my bike, but I made another wiring diagram for it and its interactive so I can view specific systems. Very useful, once I find a good format to export it to so no one has to download another program for it I'll share it. I would say if they guy knew what he was doing when he rewired the bike than your fine but if it looks like they used a butter knife than yea that's a problem.
