On the inside of the crank caseare the clutch plates and behind the clutch plates is a chain. As I'm sure this has to have some slackjust not sure how much. I have checked the repairmanual but the manual gives me no tolerances or tells me what it is or does. So my question is this what the hell does it do and how tight should it be. Any info would be great. Also the bike I got is in pieces to put it nicely and some replacement parts are going to be needed hopefully sooner then later. Wheres a good place to order parts (other then the honda dealership). Thanks.

 

The chain that is behind the clutch is the chain that drives the oil pump but I am not sure how much slack it should have
