not even going to lie i dont really know what to listen for. But i can hear the pressure changing in the lines that i have detached everytime i turn the key so im guessing thats it

you should hear it hum for a few seconds. carb bikes dont have much pressure. i think they will run even without the pump. how do you know that you have spark? did you put a plug in a wire, ground the tip, and see spark while cranking?

yup pulled them out and watched them spark one by one. I might still go grab some new plugs anyway just to make sure and tomorrow im just gonna clean my carbs to make sure my jets arent clogged. If that doesn't fix it then i guess i have to shell out some cash and take it to the mechanic lol. Hey man thanks for all of your help i really appreciate it. If you have any more ideas feel free to post it up here so i can put together a list of things to check out tomorrow if the carb cleaning doesnt work

make sure that fuel got into the float bowls. you should be able to see a spray of gas when you twist the throttle. good luck...
