they bolt right on! After you get the headlights, fairing stay, stay to frame bracket, find a way to mount your F4 gauges (or swap in F4i gauges), ram air covers (I think you have to modify them).. its not a difficult swap, but you have to read up on it well.. do a search on here.. there is also a sticky on making the dual headlights work.

the side fairings are the same and your F4 tank will be fine.
good luck

For the split seat, do you need to have the F4i sub frame or can you use the F4's ?

For a standard split-seat conversion from banana seat, yes you need the '01-03 split-seat subframe. You also need the split-seat battery tray, seats, tail plastic, tail light, misc hardware. Please see my split-seat tutorial for more info. You can link to it from my sig-line.

Are you asking if the F4i or 600RR plastics fit the F4?

F4 to F4i conversions are easily done.

Note: '01-03 F4i have split-seat tails. '04-06 F4i's have banana seat tails. '01-06 all have the same front fairing w/ dual light setup.

If you're looking to do the split-seat conversion ('01-03 F4i tail), as I said in the post above, please see my tutorial.
