Hate to bring up an old topic but does anyone know of a definite way to test if your CCT is shot except for listening for a knock in the engine or removing the head?
My F3 has recently developed a slight knock. If the engine is hot and it idles there is a slight knock which comes and goes in about 2-3 second intervals (not a continuous knock as in all the other posts) (It has about 40 000km on the clock)
I thought I'd just replace it to be on the safe side but after phoning Honda I'd rather make sure (they quoted me something ridiculous for it, bike spares not so cheap around here)
