10MPH isn't that much. It should be him. Good luck, I know how you feel.

You could be found partially at fault, but IMO, I wouldn't put any fault on you, 10mph over is pretty negligible. Did you mention going 65mph?

MAn u should have never admited u were going over speed limit....doesnt matter how long the skid was, never admit...let them give u the ticket or whatever....unless u rear end someone or something obvious like that, dont admit it cos thats the end for u, now they dont htink u were going 65 but probably 75-80....Good luck

Doesnt matterif you were doing 5 over, you were still speeding and gave them all the ammo they needed. They will end up spliting the fault up. 25% 75% or whatever it ends up being.

I'm an MP and what they teach us is that it doesn't matter how fast you were going over the limit ... speeding is speeding. Naturally, I disagree with this because I drive way too fast but the insurance companies don't see it our way. Also, if you are ever in an accident, never admit responsibility no matter how obvious you were at fault or not. Let the insurance companies prove who was at fault.

I dunno... I would think it's mostly gonna be your fault. A friend of mine got into a road rage incident and a guy ran him off the road. But the other guy never actually made contact with him, so they couldn't prove anything. My buddy had to pay for all the damages himself (at least his insurance did).

I don't know for sure since you have witnesses, but I think they are going to say you need to have control of your vehicle. I hope not.

Let us know how it turns out.
