Hi everyone, just got myself an f3 and trying to go through it and fix a couple things here and there. Previous had nothing connected to this part and there is fuel coming out of here. Can you guys tell me what this part is supposed to connect to? Thanks!

That is part of the high speed/low speed circuit for the carbs. There is a way to reroute it. It needs to be used.

 

Thanks duck62, do you know where I should reroute it to? Is it proper that gas is flowing out of that tube?

 

Take a look at a service manual for the routing. If you want to eliminate most of it and the solenoid, you can look at the 5th picture on this page. HRC mods - a set on Flickr

As for the fuel leaking out, you may need to clean the carbs. Sounds like the float valves may be stuck open.
