Only thing about not a heated garage is oil flow. With it at 10w-40 it's so thick that it has a hard time lubricating quickly since its so thick ontill heated up and becomes thinner. It can go both ways. Don't turn your bike on which helps it from not turning on and off which is wear and tear on the bike or turn it on to help prevent varnish build up and valve spring wear on the bike.
