Default Water Pump problem

So I went to flush the cooling system - I pulled the hose running from the radiator to the pump to start draining.

When I start the bike there is no movement of fluid from the reservoir and no suction coming in or out of the hoses.

So I need a new water pump? or?

Thanks!

Default

the 'reservoir' isnt a reservoir its an overflow tank

empty it then fill your radiator up until it starts to fill the reservoir when it is half way between low and high your good to go.

fill radiator

run bike for 10-15 minutes

refill radiator as needed

if at the end the radiator is full and no air in the system and the overfill still hasn't any water then just manually fill it.
