Default Vibration!!!!!

Why is my bike vibrating so much? I know the vibration is coming from the engine...I just put a new OEM CCT on thinking maybee that was casing it to vibrate. It helped a little maybee, but not much. It dosnt vibrate to any extremes but it is allitle annoying, my buddies 95 ninja does not vibrate as much as thins thing. I just dont really know what to look for. Maybe loose engine mount? Are there supposed to be any rubber bushings in the mounts? Im just getting annoyed and would like to smooth it out some more.

woops im sorry I meant to say at about 5k rpms. I took it all apart and tightened all the engine mount bolts and it seems a lot smoother.

A REAL COMMON area for loud vibration is the is both sides edges of the fairing/windshield.

When I got my bike to that right condition were the vibration was loudest, I squeezed the the fairing and windshield together, and it seems on side or the other will make this nasty noise until squeezed together. I tried foam rubber tape between parts, silicon, but worked best for me, is a simple squeeze of HOT GLUE between the assembled mating parts. THATS RIGHT, I did not even take it apart, I just shot it into the open seams and wiped it with my finger. OUCH... HOT, but well worth losing the vibration noise!

Are you hearing a vibration or feeling it?

If you're feeling it at 5k RPM, you may have a vacuum leak, or your carbs need to be jetted or synchronized.

I just feel the vibration alittle in the foot rests, in the handle bars and in between my knees in the gas tank...The bike runs great and as it should with plenty of power. Im thinking I might just be paranoid haha. Its just that it vibrates more than my buddies ninja. I did tighten some loose motor mounts which seemed like it helped. Next Im gonna try and replace the rubber pieces in the front and back mounting locations of the gas tank.

I'd check for vacuum leaks.
