Just wondering if anybody with a Yoshimura slip on would like to trade for a Vance & Hines slip on? I just bought a 97 F3 with a V&H exhaust and I'd like to get a yosh pipe on instead. Cash on my end would be included since the yoshimura exhausts are a little more.

What is wrong with the V&H? You do not like the sound? Why Yosh, cause they are loud and all the gsxrs have them?

 

I was going to buy a F2 and it had a yoshimura exhaust on it and the guy also had an F3 with a V&H. I liked the sound of the F2 a lot better. I decided to get the F3 since it had original paint and the F2 had an exhaust leak and slightly loose steering.

So nothing wrong with the V&H (I'll look it over and take pics) and I do like the sound of the yosh better. I thought it sounded deeper and smoother at idle and smoother throughout the rev range. I also think it looks better than the V&H, it seemed more angled on the F2 and the V&H looks "flatter" (angle closer to horizontal).

I'm gauging interest since I'll probably have to just buy a yosh and then sell mine, but if anyone has a yosh and is thinking about replacing it with a V&H then let me know...

ok I got my bike today finally and rode all night. I'm ecstatic, the F3 is amazing! Throttle is sticking a little- I think it may be in part because the guy brought it over using a canyon dancer to strap it down, and it's been sitting for a while. I'm going to lube up the cables and throttle grip this weekend.

About the exhaust- the V&H grew on me so unless someone wants to trade I'll stick with it. Sounds amazing...
