The last time I drained it was pretty much clear, it started out like in the pic but would get lighter after each drain like there was less and less or thinning out. I don't remember if I said it already but when I drained the full tank of the 91 and cleaner along with whatever else was already in there, it was all brownish colored but mostly in the beginning when I first started draining it, then it was just gas. Yeah it was idling outside as I typed the message at the top of the page, but was stalled when I went out there though, got it idling a few times after that but then it went to barely not-starting, also lost the sweet spot for the idle adjustment ****- that has happened before though and I just tighten it all the way then let out to what feels around halfway and adjust it when it starts. I will check out the fuel tank and filter first thing tomorrow

Thanks for the advice man I took a flashlight in the tank and looked around and when looking closely I spotted some small piles of rust ships at the bottom..removed the tank and drained it, it came out almost completely orange/brown at the end. Now that the tank is off and could really look arond there's a ton of rust in there I guess thats the source of all these problems...spent all day yesterday scooping out piles of broken up rust, now I got a huge mound of what looks like dried muddy gravel. I removed the little grey canister in between the petcock and fuel pump, think its a filter, and nothing but orange/brown stuff came out of there. But when I took the hose off the "out" of the feul pump it was all clear gas so I think I'm ok on that side, its just this nasty rusted out tank. I thought about cleaning it out or bringing it somewhere to be boiled or something but I think I'm just going to look for a new tank in good condition, and while I'm waiting for that maybe I'll yank the carbs and give them a good cleaning.
