Does anyone know for sure if any of the newer cbr600's brake systems will work with the f3? I was thinking i'll just upgrade everything, master cylinder, rotors, and calipers, just not sure if it will work. Mainly I'm interested in whether the 4 piston calipers and the larger rotors will bolt up properly. I know the master cylinder seems basically the same (except maybe able to push more volume of brake fluid though).

 

All you need (imo) is a 5/8s master cylinder.No ned for all that other stuf.

Now I do know a 900 RR front will bolt up.You will need the entire front end though (wheel,triples,clip-ons etc).

 

Nevermind, looked at pictures and the mounting is different Trying to see if there's some sort of adapter available.

 

new brake fluid + braided lines = instantly improved braking power... all you need man, trust me!

 

My F3 brakes feel great. Mine consists of Goodridge Kevlar lines, fresh fluid (every season i replace the fluid) and some HH pads. Nothing more. I can't tell any differance between mine and my buddies 600rr.

 

That was another thing I was going to upgrade along with some HH pads, but whatever...I guess that's all I can really do.

 

All you need to do man, new fluid alone makes a huge difference.

 

Mine too. Just fitted HEL lines and new pads. Once thesystem is filled with new fluid and bled properly, full BWE is restored.
