I bought it wrecked. The previous owner bent the forks and broke all the plastics. Had a shop look at it and decided it was too much to have it fixed. She must have had the insurance look it over or something because she thought it had a salvaged title. That was in '06 and it sat in a garage since then. Fast forward to this summer, I buy the bike for $500 and give a good cleaning and prep and it runs like a beast! Really only cosmetic damage, and the forks. I switched the title over and found out that it still has a clean title, that's a plus. So the past few weeks, I've been taking it apart, cleaning it, cut some unused tabs off and painting it. The wheels are actually the stock color (that I know of, the tank has some airbrushing on it). I have to figure out where to hide the wiring and put the swing arm etc. back on.
