Turn Signal Problems
I have these kind of flush mount turn signals, can anyone tell me what kind of bulb goes with this? I have looked all over for the amber color bulb that I need, and can't find it. There is no part number on the actual bulb, so if anyone has any knowledge of what the number is, I would appreciate it. Also, I tried some clear bulbs, but they weren't right, I blew a fuse on the way in to work. I had no tail light, turn signals, dash lights, speedometer, tachometer, temp gauge. The bike was bogging down real bad, and it has never done this before. Could this be a problem from the fuse blowing? I replaced the fuse, and disconnected the front signals that have the wrong bulbs in them, and everything appears to be working fine. Now I am at work and can't take it for a test ride, so I am hoping it was bogging down because of an electrical problem. Any help would be appreciated.
My best suggestion is, take the bulb out and take it to a local auto shop to see if they have anything. Many times they do.
Here is what I found about the bulb:
Wiring Two Wire, 12 Volt Systems
Bulb Amber bulbs 23 watts single filament
Manufacturer: BikeMaster
Item #: F-14164
I have the same exact flush mount on my 95 f3, however I have not encounter that problem. Maybe the reason why your experiencing the breaking fuse is the voltage for the bulb might be different?

I put the wrong size bulbs in (Watts). That's why I blew the fuse. I disconnected the signals and put in a new fuse, and the bike runs great. Must have had something to do with the electrical. Thanks for the help, I'll see if I can find that bulb online.
