That's not fair, you're only an hour and a half away. I'll get to have the better ride !!! I can't this weekend, but I'm up for it the weekend of the 6th. Oh yea, I guess we better check with him first before the entire forum shows up at his place expecting coffee and doughnuts... lol.Kuroshio... it's cold up there... are you crazy !! JK...

ok guys -- need help!

my replacement starters arrive today and are out for delivery as we speak. ive been in the garage wrenching at the bike trying to get the old starter out. i have the f3 manual downloaded but it doesnt give too much direction.

ive removed both mounting bolts (one with ground wire) and the main starter wire as well... but... its not going anywhere!! lol it has a slight budge to it on the side i removed the mounting bolts from but doesnt seem to want to move aside from that. what gives? i cant get it out!!!

big ups to Project96!! he sent me two starters, which arrived today. was great doing business with him!

i did it! i got the old starter out once seeing what the other starter looked like and realized it needed to be pulled out from the side. ive installed the new starter and she starts like a champion!! im so excited now. its kinda chilly out but ill prolly take her for a ride i have it on the battery tender now since its been a while since its been ran.

oh yeah got my new yoshimura rs-3 on it as well, will be the first time riding with it! it sounded great from the first startup i just did!

I may be closer, but you're the man with the knowledge! I'm just an extra set of hands.

Unfortunately I'm about to head to Costa Rica on vacation, so I'll be out of the country for the following few weekends.
