trouble shooting a "little" problem
so leaving the gym the other day, bike started fine. when i was going back home to get ready for work, the bike started jumping. i didnt move the throttle, and the bike seemed like one sec no fuel then the next its fine. my ol man said it could be the carbs, just a cleaning could solve it. luckily i have a 4 day weekend and im going to get on it! but i was wondering if it could be anything else? any help is good maybe even solve an upcoming problem! thanks
i had almost the same problem man i replaced my fuel pump it was fine for a few days then it did it agian ended up being the fuel pump relay. got one on ebay for 20 bucks from a shadow (same relay). the fuel pump i got is from an 83 honda accord mad by airtex i cut the bracket off an it droped right in easy fix. the fuel pump relay is just behind you rectifier on the right side of the bike on the sub frame. if you have a manual it will show you how to test the relay. best of luck man.

1+ check for a collapsed fuel line or bad fuel pump, put your hand on the pump when you crank the bike you should feel it pumping, the stock fuel pump doesn't prime as it gets its ground from the coils.
If the bike was running great then all of sudden did it, I highly doubt its the carbs
EDIT: didn't notice how old this post was, hope you have it fixed by now....
