tool needed to snake tank air vent
to add to my current electrical issues my tank pressurizes in the heat and vacuums in the cold. this leads me to believe my vent on the bottom of my tank is clogged. only problem now is how i clean it. its the small one, only about 1/16" in diameter. any one have any suggestions on what to use to snake this vent with? preferably house hold/garage item so i dont have to spend money i dont have and can spend that money i dont have on other things in need to fix my bike.
slowly but surely ill get her running right again.
any help appreciated.

Well I'm not sure if I should have done this or not, but when my reserve vent (I think it was the reserve one) was plugged I just used an air hose and blew through it. Cleared everything right out and tank has been fine since that like 4 weeks ago. Anyways just a suggestion, I'd wait for someone more wise then me to tell you the proper way to clear it out.
I ran into the same problem a couple of months ago. Used the same method to clear it... air nozle. It did the trick, just make sure you don't leave whatever crap it is in the tank the best you can.
