Too good to be true???
Lemme first say hi.....new to the forums if ya didn't already notice me "one" post i got so far. Seems to be a hell of a good group a guys here....and i'm hoping to grab a f3 sometime this week or in the very near future.
But my main question now is......95 f3, 9800 miles, slip on exhaust(not sure whos exhaust it is). It needs a rear tire and front signals. The fellas saying he'll take 2000. No less. Going to look at it tomorrow. Is that too good to be simply needing a rear tire and signals?
I know alot all depends on the type of miles on it...That 9800 race/non-mantianed miles are worse than 20k babied/super mantained miles. And i kno my way around a bike to give it the once over...I'm just curious if i should be expecting something hidden for it being so cheap.
Cheers all, Thanks for any help you can offer me.

Welcome to the forum and good luck on becoming a future F3 owner. I don't know that I'd call a 1995 F3 for $2000 a too good to be true buy. If the bike was in excellent condition, then it'd be a pretty good buy. Needing a rear tire is not a big deal. To me, needing front signals makes me wonder why. Has it been laid down (causing signal loss) ? If the plastics aren't in good condition, then I think the seller is dreaming. I think you'll be able to tell more once you've seen the bike in person.

welcome to the forums!
and errm, the f3 is a solid bike, even after race/track, it's still a solid bike.
mine came to me from a honda mechanic, so mine was babied from day1
it has over 50,000 now on the clock, and she runs like a champ.
you can always get the bike checked out,
might set you back 100 bucks, but then you know.
prolly want to invest in a few things when you get it anyways
I dont trust people, so day1 i changed my sprockets and chain...
took my bike apart also, and made sure everything was there...
it was missing a few screws, so the guy gave me a box of em!
but maybe he can throw in some gear too, maybe a helmet?
