I made a mistake and order the wrong tire off of ebay yesterday.The CBRcalls for a 160 rear, but I got a 180, will it fit? My contacts was dirty and read the posting wrong.

If I'm not mistaken, 180 is the widest the stock swingarm on the f3 will accept. You should be ok, unless someone corrects me.

 

Whew, purchase two set. $318.00 with shipping. I feel much better.

 

Should look pretty sweet with that wide rubber on the back but it might not handle as well as the stock size. But if you're not on the track it probably won't be noticable.

 

180 will fit. Tight, but it will fit. you probably wont notice that much of a difference on it, if all your doing is doing street riding. if you have switched your front to 120/70 then it will feel great, if not it will feel a little more flat, if you can imagine. if you havent done it yet, you may also want to consider doing a 520 chain conversion. it will make you bike a little more lively, and cancel out those few added ounces from the bigger tire. good luck

 

Most of the riding will be highway riding, 140 mile a day back and forth to work. I got 120-60/17 front and 180-55 or 50/17 rear. The 520 chain is in the workings, searched on ebay and don't remember see any chains.

you should be fine. you probably wont notice that big of a difference, and that is a pretty good price.
